I really enjoyed my visit to the Kanata Festivial earlier in the summer at larwill Park at 688 Cambie St, Vancouver, BC Here’s A free event , a nine-day festival of Indigenous and diverse arts. I spent some time before I had to go to some other activities.
The Drum Is Calling Festival explained here, taken from the website of First Nations Drum , Canada’s largest First Nations newspaper….”The City of Vancouver, the world’s first official City of Reconciliation, has created the Drum is Calling Festival in partnership with the Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh Nations. This 9-day festival will feature cultural traditions, traditional and cutting-edge arts, music, dance, film, poetry, PowWow, and much more.”
