Hosted on the unceded territory of the Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh First Nations, the Thunderbird Sharing Ceremony is a Coast Salish Canoe Landing Ceremony with local Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh artists, and Aeriosa aerial dancers. it took place at Stanley Park, Performers & Speakers: included Spakwus Slulem Eagle Song Dancers,Aeriosa Dance,Git Hayetsk Dancers, and Coast Salish Guests. I unfortunately wasn’t able to be there for the landing of the canoes, but was able to see the speakers and dancers. here are my pics and some video I took with my phone from this event. again unfortunately the battery died in my camera so I missed some shots.
